Random Pictures - New Coats of Paint, City shots

So, this is the outdoor test, though I will include some indoor photo shots too.

Recently, I have noticed that a lot of the buildings in the city are having new coats of paint, I wonder if it is due to the Vietnam National Day approaching in September. One of the suspect is Continental Hotel.

But the building beside it is always unkept, reason being that all the small individuals are waiting to sell their real estate. Actually I do like the building and it can be just as charming if someone could give it a new coat of paint. This block is called Eden as there is a small shopping mall within it called Eden.

This building is the City Hall, or Hotel d'Ville, or Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Building. This is modeled after the Hotel d'Ville in Paris. You can see that the Rex extension is coming up on the left and Eden is on the right.

Sun Wah Tower is where my company's main office is located. Just to the left side is where you can get DVDs.

Took some shots at Legend's Hotel where we went for this month's company birthday lunch. The first is set at ISO mode and returns warm, natural light with flash forced off. It has auto focus assist light on, but still the photo is not so clear, probably due to the flash forced off.

The second is on simple mode, I think everyone looks ghastly since it is low light and the flash is harsh.

The last one is also on simple mode, light is better since the flash is on and closer to subject to add effect.

Lastly is a photo of myself in office. Messy desk; and I miss my cubicle with lots of space....it's been almost eight months.
